FormulaCamp (formulacamp.com) wants everyone who learns Excel to be able to use it. This page says what we aim for, what we know does not work well yet, and how to tell us about a problem.
1. Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. This is a target, not a certification: we have not had the site audited by an independent third party, and we do not claim full conformance.
What we do toward it:
- Pages are built with headings, landmarks and labelled controls, so they can be navigated with a keyboard and read by assistive technology.
- Lessons, theory and pricing are ordinary HTML text, available without scripts where possible.
- Text can be enlarged with the browser's zoom.
- Dialogs use the browser's native modal dialog element.
2. Known limitations
- The spreadsheet grid. The live spreadsheet is a custom component. It can be used with a keyboard (arrow keys, Enter, Tab, F2 to edit), but screen reader support is partial: cell content, selection and formula results are not always announced as in a native spreadsheet application. If you use a screen reader, you can read all lesson theory and task text, but completing tasks in the grid may be difficult. Downloadable .xlsx task files can be opened in your own spreadsheet program, which may work better for you.
- Automatic checking and hints. The result of a check and AI hints are shown as text messages; they may not always be announced immediately by every screen reader.
- Charts and images. Some illustrations in lessons are decorative or only partly described in text.
- Colour and motion. We have not tested every colour combination against the AA contrast ratios, and some animations do not yet respect every reduced-motion setting.
- Languages. The interface and lessons are available in English and Russian only. Some lessons are not translated into both.
- Third-party checkout. Payment is handled on Paddle's pages when paid plans are available; we do not control their accessibility.
3. Feedback and help
If you find a barrier, or cannot use a part of the Service, please write to support@formulacamp.com and tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and the browser and assistive technology you use. We aim to reply within 5 working days, and to offer an alternative (for example the lesson content in another form) where we can. We use your reports to prioritise fixes.
4. Scope and review
This statement covers formulacamp.com, including lessons, the practice workspace, the pricing and legal pages. It is reviewed when the Service changes significantly.
