In D2, calculate the total for bread: price × quantity.

Every formula starts with an equals sign =. Instead of numbers, use cell addresses:
=B2*C2. Then, when a price changes, the total recalculates on its own.
Tip: while you are typing a formula, click a cell and its address is inserted for you.
