Task 1 of 3
In C2:C6, calculate how many full boxes you get (the box size is in H1).
Lesson theory
=QUOTIENT(50,12)gives 4: how many times 12 fits into 50 completely;=MOD(50,12)gives 2: what is left over;=INT(4.7)gives 4: drops the fractional part (for negative numbers it rounds down: −4.7 becomes −5);=TRUNC(-4.7)gives −4: simply cuts off the fraction.
A classic task is packing: how many full boxes, how many items are left over, and how many boxes you need in total.
