Lesson 13 of 25
Task 1 of 4
  1. In F2, calculate the total of Emma's deals in Boston.

Lesson theory

When there is more than one condition, use the functions that end in IFS:

  • =SUMIFS(sum_range, range1, criteria1, range2, criteria2)
  • =COUNTIFS(range1, criteria1, range2, criteria2)
  • =MAXIFS(max_range, range1, criteria1), MINIFS
  • =AVERAGEIF(range, criteria, average_range)

Note that in SUMIFS the sum range comes first, while in SUMIF it comes last.
